KERALA PG Dental MDS 2013
Applications are invited from the qualified candidates of NEET MDS-2013 for allotment and admission to MDS Courses 2013 in the Government Dental Colleges and to the 50% seats available in the Self Financing Dental colleges in Kerala.
Eligibility for Kerala PG Dental MDS Admission Notification 2013
Applicant should have passed the BDS degree from any one of the Universities in Kerala or possess a BDS Degree duly recognized by the Dental Council of India from a Dental College duly recognized by the Government of India under the Dentists Act, 1948 and who has obtained provisional or permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils after passing the final BDS examination as equivalent there to with eligibility for full Registration in Ker ala Stat e Dental Council in respect of all courses.
Applicants who have completed or who will complete one year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (CRRI) as per DCI Regulations on or before 31st March 2013 are eligible to apply admission. Admission to the candidate will be given only after obtaining Registration of Kerala State Dental Council.
Condition of one year Compulsory Rotating Internship is not applicable to those candidates who had passed their final BDS
Examination on or before 1988 and hold a BDS Degree from a Dental College recognized by the Dental Council of India and have obtained provisional or permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils.
A candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by Government of India/Dental Council of India), is undergoing 12month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March 2013 can take up NEET(MDS)-2013 entrance Examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st March 2013, or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of the institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March 2013.
Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions:
Be an Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin.
Candidates, who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents and have obtained BDS degree from any of the Dental Colleges in Kerala State and opted for the domicile status of State of Kerala
But they will not be eligible for communal/PD reservation benefits.
Upper age limit for general merit candidates will be 45 years as on 30-04-2013
For Service Quota candidates, other than from Medical Education Services Quota, (MESQ) the upper age limit will be 46 years for Post Graduate Degree Courses as on 30-04-2013
For MESQ candidates, upper age limit will be 50 years as on 30-04-2013
All candidates including service candidates shall have to qualify the NEET (MDS)-2013. In order to be eligible for admission to any Postgraduate Dental Course in 2013, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain percentile of 50 and above in NEET (MDS) -2013.
However in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC)-the minimum percentile shall be 40.
In respect of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum percentile shall be 45. It is summarised in the table here below.

How to Apply Kerala PG Dental MDS Admission Notification 2013
Application forms for allotment /admission to P G Dental(MDS) Courses:–
The application forms are common for all candidates applying for the course. Candidates seeking admission to the course can apply in the online application form provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee at any of the branches of State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan available with the printout of the online application. The candidates outside Kerala can remit the application fee by way of a Demand Draft for the requisite amount, drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee for General candidates is Rs.1000/- (Rupees Thousand only) and in the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per G.O (MS) No.25/05/SCSTDD dated 22.06.2005 is Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). The Prospectus can be downloaded from this website. The application forms and the prospectus will not be available from the Dental Colleges or from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Service candidate seeking admission in General Quota also, should pay extra Rs.1000/-
The candidate has to visit www.cee.kerala.gov.in wherein he/she can find the link ‘PG Dental 2013 -Online Application’.
Candidate Registration: The candidate will be directed to another page where he/she should click the link ‘Candidate Registration’. The candidate should register by giving the necessary details, on completion of which, an Application Number will be generated which the applicant has to note down for further processes.
The candidate has to give the Application number and the Password created during registration and on clicking the ‘Login’, he/she will be directed to the homepage of candidate.
The candidate has to click the link ‘Apply Online’ and upload his/her photograph.
The candidate has to upload his/her latest passport size photo in jpg format not more than 50 kb of size by clicking on the “browse”button provided. It must be good quality color ‘STUDIO’ photograph with light color background. The photograph should not be taken with the candidate wearing Cap or Goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly.
POLAROID and COMPUTER / MOBILE PHONE generated photos are not acceptable.
If the candidate is fully sure that the data entered are correct in all respects, he/she has to click a ‘Submit’ button placed below a
‘Declaration’ by the candidate. The declaration is meant to state that all details entered by the candidate are true and no corrections will be requested for in future. Some preliminary validations on the data entered will be done during this stage. If
the validation is not cleared, the candidate will have to look into all the errors shown in the page and correct it, otherwise, the candidate can click the ‘Confirm’ button and save the application or click ‘Edit’ button to edit. Once the ‘Confirm’ button is clicked, the application will be saved and the candidate will be directed to the homepage of candidate where in facility for printing his/her application, nativity certificate, community certificate, Chalan etc (as applicable) will be provided. The
‘Application number’ of the candidate will also be displayed in the page. The candidate is instructed to note down the application number for further correspondence with this office. The candidate will not be able to edit/modify/correct his application, once the ’Confirm’ button is pressed. If any of the details submitted are found incorrect, the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.

All candidates including Service Quota candidates shall have to qualify NEET MDS-2013 conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)
The candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions as per clause IV of the prospectus for Admission to MDS courses 2013 and included in the Kerala State Rank List of NEET MDS-2013 alone will be considered for admission to MDS Courses
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations shall prepare a Merit List and Category List of SC, ST, SEBC and PD for allotment and admission on the basis of the applications submitted by the qualified candidates
The selection of the Service Quota candidates shall be made from the Rank list furnished by the Director of Medical Education and approved by the Post Graduate Selection Committee.
Application Submission for Kerala PG Dental MDS Admission Notification 2013
All candidates seeking admission to the MDS Courses 2013 can apply in the online application form available from 29th May, 2013 (Wednesday) in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations
Remit the required fee at any branches of State Bank of Travancore using the bank Challan available with the printout of the online application.

Application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Application forms and prospectus will not be available from the Dental Colleges or from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Last date and time for receipt of printout of the online application
All Candidates including service candidates seeking admission to the MDS Courses should take the printout of the online application
Affix their passport size photograph (same as the one uploaded to the online application for NEET MDS-2013) in the space provided in it and get it attested by a Government Gazetted Officer
And forward their completed application with all the required documents mentioned to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram — 695 001, either by Registered Post/ Speed Post/Hand Delivery so as to reach him before 5 pm on 05th June 2013 (Wednesday).
However, Service Candidates in addition should forward a copy of the completed application along with all required documents including their service details to the Controlling Officer concerned as stipulated in the prospectus, on or before 5 pm on 05th June 2013 (Wednesday).
Late, defective and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be undertaken in this regard.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will not be responsible for any postal delay.
Candidates will be allowed, neither to include any information in the application form nor to submit any certificates / documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application, under any circumstances. Candidates must note that they have to obtain the required certificates in the body of the application printout itself, wherever specified.
Admit Card (Kerala PG Dental MDS Admission Notification 2013)
Candidates eligible for allotment/admission to the MDS courses will be issued with the admit cards which can be downloaded from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from the date notified.
The selection and allotment of seats including those under Service Quota will be made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) which is a Single Window System of allotment based on the options submitted online by the candidates, eligible as per Prospectus for admission to MDS Courses 2013, approved by the Government of Kerala
Candidates may go through the various provisions of the Prospectus available in the Official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations at www.cee-kerala.org before filling up the “On-line application forms”.
