Candidate should have passed Diploma from an AICTE approved institution with a minimum of 45 percent marks (40 percent for SC / ST / Non Creamy Layer OBC / Non Creamy Layer SBC candidates of Rajasthan) or candidate should have Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with mathematics as a subject with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC / ST / Non Creamy Layer OBC / Non Creamy Layer SBC candidates of Rajasthan). The marks obtained to award the division in Diploma / Degree will be considered for deciding the eligibility and respective merit. 2. Confirm the GATE paper you want to look for. A candidate is allowed to look in just one paper.
3. Select town of option to seem for the examination: There are 3 selections, within the order of preference. The candidate will select a selected town because the 1st alternative for showing GATE 2014 examination. The corresponding zones to that this 1st alternative town belongs are better-known. The candidate will select his/ her second alternative solely from the cities out there in this zone. However, as an extra choice, a 3rd alternative is additionally introduced in GATE 2014. The list of third alternative cities is as nominative by every zone. Note this third alternative town could either be from the zone to that the primary and second alternative cities belong or from another zone. The third alternatives are thought-about only if the candidate couldn’t be accommodated either in 1st or second alternative cities. The tentative zone wise list of cities for GATE 2014 is given in Examination Cities. However, the GATE Committee reserves the correct to feature a brand new town or take away AN existing town and allot a town that will not be any of the alternatives of a candidate.

For Lateral Entry (3rd Semester):- Admission under this scheme will be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained in diploma in Pharmacy. The form given in Appendix-1 shall be filled up by students seeking admission under lateral entry scheme.

Educational Qualification for Lateral Entry Seats (3rd Semester): Passed Diploma in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) will be eligible for admission directly in the 3rd Semester of second year regular B. Pharmacy Course under lateral entry.

Preference shall be given to Bonafide / domicile Himachali Diploma holders for admission under lateral entry. The candidates from other States may be considered for admission under lateral entry in case Himachali Bonafide candidates are not available subject to fulfillment of all other eligibility conditions.

Only those applicants who have applied on prescribed application form provided in this Prospectus and submitted their applications duly completed in all respects on or before the last date and time and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission strictly in order of merit of marks obtained in diploma in Pharmacy.

Separate merit list shall be prepared for all the reserved categories.

The merit shall be determined on the basis of aggregate number of marks obtained by the candidate in diploma in Pharmacy and the merit list will be prepared accordingly.  In case of tie in the aggregate number of marks, then the candidate (s) older in age will be given preference.

Admission shall be offered to the applicants of reserved categories before that of general category. Unclaimed / vacant seat, if any, from the reserved categories shall be transferred to the general category at the end of the admission round of reserved category. Claim of the applicants of reserved category who remain absent for any round of counseling, shall not be accepted for the seats so transferred.

Physical presence of the applicant is necessary at the time of admission and counseling. The parents / guardian of the applicant will be allowed to accompany the applicant to enable him/her to select course of his / her choice out of available courses.

An applicant listed in the merit list shall be eligible for all rounds of admissions / counseling, irrespective of whether he/she attended/availed admission in the earlier round or not.

An applicant who is eligible for admission in more than one category will be admitted in the category of his / her choice subject to availability of seats. However, he / she will be entitled for vertical mobility under all the eligible categories subject to availability of seats. The vertical mobility of the candidate will be from sub reserved category to corresponding Main Reserved Category and then to Main General Category.

The selected candidates shall report to the Head of the College for admission on or before the specified date mentioned in the selection letter, failing which the admission shall stand cancelled and thereafter no request will be considered for re-admission.

Eligibility for NMIMS Mumbai BPharma MPharma Admission 2013

The candidate must have passed 10th + 2 or equivalent exam including international IB Diploma (IB certificate awarded is not eligible) with science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English as compulsory subjects and obtained minimum 45% marks in (PCM/PCB). Those awaiting their 10th +2 exam result this year may also apply.

Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply provided they required minimum cut off marks and should be eligible & produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the stipulated time.
